What Is Somatic Coaching?
Somatic coaching is a body-based approach to growth, self-understanding, and change.
Rather than working only through thought, analysis, or strategy, somatic coaching invites you to listen to the wisdom of your body. We may explore sensations, emotions, images, movement, breath, intuition, creative expression, and the subtle cues that help you understand what feels aligned, what feels stuck, and what may be ready to shift.
At Moon Somatics, online somatic coaching blends embodiment practices, nervous system support, ritual, creativity, ancestral connection, and healing arts. This work is not psychotherapy, but it can be a powerful space for reflection, self-trust, and embodied change.
Somatic coaching can be especially supportive when you are seeking clarity, reconnecting with your voice, navigating transition, tending stress or grief, or exploring a more embodied way of living, creating, relating, and making choices.
What Happens in an Online Somatic Coaching Session?
Each online somatic coaching session is shaped by what you bring and what your body is ready to explore.
We may begin with conversation, a question, a feeling, a place of stuckness, or something you are wanting to create or understand more deeply. From there, we slow down and listen for what is happening beneath the surface.
A session may include grounding practices, body awareness, gentle movement, breath, self-contact, creative reflection, ritual, intuitive inquiry, emotional tracking, or exploration of images, symbols, dreams, sensations, and inner parts.
You do not need to know how to “do” somatic work before beginning. You do not need to have the perfect words. We move at the pace of consent, curiosity, and care.
The goal is not to force a breakthrough. The invitation is to build a more trusting relationship with your body, your inner guidance, and the next steps that are already beginning to take shape.

Moon Somatics offers somatic coaching as a practical, creative, and soulful space for listening inward. Sessions may include body awareness, grounding, movement, breath, self-contact, imagery, sound, ritual support, ancestral connection, nature-based reflection, and creative exploration.
These practices are offered with care, consent, and respect for your lived experience. Rather than forcing an outcome, we listen for what supports more choice, aliveness, expression, and connection.
This work welcomes the parts of you that are seeking direction, belonging, pleasure, rest, creativity, and a deeper relationship with your own embodied voice.
Care, Consent, and Clarity
Somatic Coaching is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical care, or crisis support. These sessions are healing arts and coaching sessions that blend somatic practice, ritual, ancestral connection, creative exploration, reflective inquiry, and body-based listening.
This work is present-focused and supportive in nature. It may include reflection on past experiences or survival patterns, but it does not provide clinical assessment, mental health diagnosis, treatment planning, or psychotherapy. It can complement therapy or other forms of care, but it is not a replacement for licensed mental health or medical support when that level of care is needed. Referrals can be provided when appropriate, and you are encouraged to seek guidance from licensed healthcare or mental health professionals for medical, psychiatric, or clinical concerns.
